Rain+ Grow to be showcased at CII’s 9th National Food Safety & Quality Summit in Delhi

The 9th National Food Safety and Quality Summit slated for 2nd and 3rd of December 2014 in Delhi is the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) annual flagship event. Excellence in Food Safety and Quality for Consumer Safety and Compliance will be the central theme of the event. This event comes in a long line of initiatives spearheaded by the CII to enhance the competitiveness of the Indian food industry and in the long run ensnare a larger share of the global market.

Through global collaborations to bring evidence, research capability and experience sharing the event will provide a platform for knowledge sharing, reflection on key issues currently faced by the industry and to set new directions to develop roadmaps to achieve excellence in delivering safe and quality food to consumers.

Key topics to be highlighted at the event include harmonisation of food safety standards, science behind food safety, food safety modernisation act and its impact on imports from India, design of infant food formulations within the framework of stringent food safety regulations, global best practices for on key food safety processes in food value chain, integrating safety & quality in product and process design and master classes on advances & best practices in cleaning, hygiene, sanitation, sanitary equipment design & pest management for food industry and sensory evaluation tools & techniques amongst others.
